Autumn is one of the periods of the year we like the most: the colors heat up and become deeper and more vibrant. They also match with a softer style, we can go back to play with colors (yes, even nude shades are colors) and with new formulas, because the beauty world never stops and never ceases to amaze us, and neither do new technologies. A problem, however, that we encounter at the beginning of every season is: what do we need to change our makeup a little? What are those products that we cannot miss?
We have therefore created a shopping/wish masterlist, so we won’t miss those unique products that perhaps will only last the season or that, maybe, it will be impossible not to notice:

Chanel: Les 4 Ombres Palette in 312 Quiet Revolution
________________
Why:
Because Lucia Pica never disappoints. No, really: Not once. For this fall everything is focused on matte, soft textures perfect for, but not limited to, sophisticated looks. According to us, Lucia really wanted us to understand that matte textures are not just for the most elegant looks but they can belong to a more everyday style too, and they can be more colorful than ever while remaining soft. In short, as always, she hit the target. If last year Chanel surprised us with the hottest and reddish shades, this year it is all about blue.

Fenty Beauty by Rihanna: Stunna Lip Paint in Unveil
________________
Why:
After the red tint that is flattering to all types of skin, the absolute must of the season has arrived: brown. Brown?! Yes, brown. Also, in this case, Rihanna has doubled the miracle: a shade that is good for everyone (but really everyone) and that we tried. Even if you are not used to seeing yourself with such dark and intense brown, you cannot help but fall in love with it. Another plus? It’s really long-wear.

Chanel: Stylo Ombre Et Contour in 12 Contour Clair
________________
Why:
Stylo Ombre is a unique product. It’s basically super pigmented matte pencils that intensify the eye makeup in one step and can create sophisticated shadows. They can be used as khôl, eye-liner or all-over eyeshadows, for a homogeneous hue and a velvety texture. 12 Contour Clair, for example, is a light beige shade that is good for all and has a long staying power.

Nars: 7 Deadly Sins Audacious Lipstick Palette
________________
Why:
Seven semi-matte shades of lipsticks and a practical brush for applying them.
What do we need to add? Nothing. The lipstick shades range from nude to very dark purple, almost black, through intense reds and pinks hues: a strong selection, feminine, bold, and that will become the perfect final piece to complete your lipstick “cabinet.”
________________
Dior: Rouge Dior Ink Lip Liner in 999
________________
Why:
We loved the eyeliner that the brand launched this summer, with all those wonderful colors, and we especially liked the reds. But now the brand thought about lips, with lip liners that are intense, long-lasting and that, even alone, can mimic the intensity and beauty of a lipstick. We particularly fell in love with the 999, which takes from the shade of one of Dior’s most famous and beloved lipsticks of all time.

Yves Saint Laurent: Full Matte Shadow in 02 Impulsive Pink
________________
Why:
This is a new product, a liquid matte eyeshadow that has an unparalleled effect. Ok, we have to accept that opaque textures are here to stay for a while and they’re making sure we know it. This particular color is terrific: a rose-pink with a warm undertone that feels like butter on the eyelid and, when it fades, it almost changes color where it’s blended. A perfect product for those who love minimal makeup and that also exists in a crazy electric blue color.

Huda Beauty: Ruby Obsessions Palette
________________
Why:
Yes, it’s true. This seems to be the season of blue colors. But Huda wanted to create these pallets which, apart from what is trending or not, could essentially satisfy everyone’s preferences. But we fell in love with this in particular, because we had never seen a palette so shamelessly red, even those that should be even redder and are advertised as such. You absolutely cannot miss your favorite color in all its most beautiful shades and textures. After all, what better palette to celebrate autumn?

Nars: Climax Mascara or Chanel: The Volume de Chanel
________________
Why:
Ok, when we think mascara, we think about them: Climax by Nars, a mascara with a super-volumizing effect that manages to grant the “false eyelashes” effect but can be dosed for every need. We like a lighter layer, but which immediately opens the eye. And the mascara by Chanel, which is, on the other hand, a real revolution: the first mascara with patented and 3D printed applicator. Its alveolar structure picks up just the right amount of product, and the design is formed by a unique material that progressively releases the formula on the lashes. Needless to say, we already adore it.

Becca Cosmetics: Skin Love Foundation
________________
Why:
There are not many new products that cover the base-area of makeup for now, but this really is some news, especially for Becca Cosmetics which has never played too much with its bases, focusing instead on the famous (and beloved) highlighters. A foundation with a matte texture but with a satin finish, for a season, spent with a matte and luminous skin at the same time. A beautiful base that goes perfectly with its Skin Love serum, which has excellent opacity and a super soft texture. For us, it could become the perfect fall/winter base!

Glossier: Cloud Paint in Dawn and Storm
________________
Why:
Glossier never misses a beat, and with these two new colors of liquid blush the brand wanted to anticipate the most beautiful shades of autumn. It offers a dark orange and a beautiful burgundy/wine that looks good on everyone, even the palest complexions, for that fresh look signed by Glossier.

Marc Jacobs Beauty: O! Mega Shadow in O! Mercy
________________
Why:
“Bigger is better!” This is the motto that inspires the new O! Mega eyeshadows by Marc Jacobs.
The designer idea was to wipe away the fear of getting to the bottom of the pod of our favorite eyeshadow, doubling the size. But innovation is in the formula too, which makes these eyeshadows unique, buttery and very long lasting. The formulation is in fact characterized by innovative gel-coated pigments, which make the powder very, very soft at touch. Our favorite one? O! Mercy, a shade of very dark mauve rose.
