Just imagine: a villa in Nevada surrounded by a silent landscape and a traveler, who enjoys the present while looking at the future and without forgetting the importance of the past at the same time. Suspended between this will of research and eternal inspiration, the woman of the SS20 collection by 1910 Borbonese opens the road to a new direction for the brand, a direction to discover and to be conquered by.

MOODBOARD
__________
In the beautiful location of San Paolo Converso, the paintings on the walls and the mirrored floor work as frames and co-stars of the SS20 collection by Dorian Tarantini and Matteo Mena’s brand. Inspired by a trip to the Nevada desert, without forgetting the heritage of this historic brand, the looks are characterized by the jacquard motifs of the suits, and the checks or the cactus prints on the skirts, going through shapes and accessories typical of the ‘70s and ‘80s, mostly in leather. This kind of style is perfect for those who want to get an eye-catching and trendy look. We then find double-breasted suits, decorative prints, mini shapes (such as crop tops), big shoulders and tight trenches, for a general allure of comfort and modernity.
The possibilities of playing and customizing the look are endless, and they testify how this collection is just the beginning.

CLOSE UP
__________
The bags are the true stars, and they are all unique in their composition; from the mini size, one of the most trendy accessories of the last season, to the big ones with prints combined with the suits, up to the real jewel of the collection: the sun-reflector, aka the folding mirror for sunbathing which, during the presentation, captured the light that filtered from the church’s windows giving the outfit an ethereal aura.
The ‘80s, therefore, are back, and they are also an inspiration for the sunglasses that remind us of the sci-fi context ( “Terminator” anyone?). The white pointed shoes, or otherwise matched with the rest of the outfit, and the elegant hoop earrings complete the look, defying a general aesthetic that perfectly matches the mood of the collection.

BEAUTY
__________
Two beauty looks created by Michele Magnani for MAC Cosmetics Italia, both inspired by the musical scenes and the desire of color of the ‘80s, and suitable for a witty and timeless woman. The first consists of a base prepared with Prep + Prime Fix and the Mineralize Water Face and Body Lotion moisturizer. Then a mix of Prep + Prime Natural in Radiance Pink with the Studio Waterweight Foundation is spread all over your face.
To cover the dark circles instead, they used the Studio Fix 24 Hour concealer. The protagonists of the look are the eyes: on the eyelid, there’s a thin layer of I Can’t Afford This of the Art Library palette: it’s Designer, which is blended under the eyebrows and on the cheekbones. The final touch: the BCB Pearl on the eyelid and the cheekbones. On the eyebrows and lips, they applied the Clear Lipglass.
The steps for the base of the second look are the same, what changes instead is the shade one the inner corner of the eye, the Triennial Wave from the Art Library palette: it’s Designer. The tint My Kid Could Make That is applined instead on the eyelid and up to the cheekbones. The final touch is given by the Cream Colour Base in Pearl above the eyelid and cheekbones, while the Clear Lipglass is put on the lashes. On the lips, they applied the Clear Lipglass with a touch of orange eyeshadow in the center of the lips, to give a touch personality to the look.
