It is impossible to not to see Veronica Giomini at least once during fashion week.
Veronica has a very strong and unique personal style and, despite being very young (she was born in 1995), she quickly became a full fashion icon. She is a sensual and sporty girl, who alternates feminine looks to masculine ones… In other words, she is unpredictable, and that increases her glamour and our interest in her regards.
We interviewed Veronica Giomini on the last day of the Milan Fashion Week, when she had the latest events to attend and a suitcase still to be done for Paris. Between an oversized jacket, a Fendi pair of sunglasses and the super cool attitude of those who are fully aware of their style, Veronica told us about her evolution, her relationship with social media and her fashion inspirations.
The keyword that better describes her? #Uniqueness, made even more special by a pinch of fantasy that gives life to an irreplaceable and, above all, irresistible figure.
HEY GIRL!
Nice to Meet You, I Am: Veronica Giomini.
Location: Milan.
Trend: Androgynous Look.
MIX AND MATCH
ANDROGYNOUS LOOK
THE ROUGE MISSCAKE
It was born about 4 years ago when I was still in high school: I was really young, and it was born as a personal space where to share my ideas, my style of course, my way of doing and living. I speak about fashion, lifestyle, beauty, at the beginning there was also a design section…
Now the blog is going along with social networks because Instagram has become essential for us. It’s also a better platform than the blog because it keeps you in close contact with the followers who, apart from the comments, also write you direct messages, you have a closer relationship with them.
YOUR PERSONAL STYLE
I am a very androgynous figure, I love the feminine style but also the masculine one, I like to mix these two things. I’m sporty but also very elegant, we can say that I’m a combination of both things.
LET’S TALK ABOUT FASHION WEEK…
For me, one of the most beautiful fashion shows of recent years was the Prada Spring/Summer 2019 collection. I love everything, I would buy everything! In my opinion, it represents the true Prada’s spirit.
In Paris I’m curious to see Gucci instead because it has never made a fashion show there before, I think it will amaze us with some Parisian looks. And then the new collection of Celine!
Regarding the debut of Tisci as the new creative director of Burberry I have always collaborated with the brand, I like its style. Tisci, in my opinion, has made a mix with his previous collections, even in the Bambi effect. The initial part of the fashion show was very elegant, the revisited trench was very nice for example, while the second part was more sporty, especially for man: I liked more the man’s part than the woman’s one because for me Tisci does better in the menswear.

YOUR DREAM TRAVEL
I would like to visit Marrakech also to discover many fabrics.
THE TRAVEL THAT INSPIRED YOU THE MOST
It may seem trivial but Paris, it was one of the most beautiful trips. It is the only city where I would move after Milan.
LET ME BE MYSELF
SO I CAN SHINE WITH MY OWN LIGHT
#Inspo: I like to show the fanciest part of me.
My Favorite Way To Wear It: Be particular. The suits for me are essential: jackets, even very over, trousers and crop tops underneath. As for shoes, a pair of decolté or high Balenciaga-style boots.
Styling Tip: Dare but stay true to yourself, because you notice when someone does not know how to properly wear something.
Trendspotting: I would say an androgenic person like me because if you’re too feminine or too masculine it is not good, you have to match the feminine part with the sportiest one. Tilda Swinton might be a good reference.

Your Favorite Fashion Reading: As a magazine I really like Odda, their editorial shootings are beautiful. I’m very inspired by magazines for my shots.
Your Fashion Superpower: I would like to have longer days to carve out some space for myself and I would love to be able to concentrate more on my shots: I already put so much love and passion, but I would like to do more special things, more unique.
“Never be afraid of doing something different…”
“…Dare to be something more.”
