She has big and green eyes, full eyebrows, a unique smile, bright skin and, of course, one of the most “bold” red carpet make-up style (remember that wonderful emerald green eyeshadow at the Emmys?); she is not afraid to play with her look and to give always a different version of herself: this is Maisie Williams. Known to us all as Arya Stark of “Game of Thrones.” Maisie Williams has also always amazed us with her breathtaking make-up looks!
But behind a great style, and Maisie Williams’s make-up has a lot of it, there’s always a great Make-up Artist.
Kindra Mann has been following her since the start, following her in all the makeup looks and in her transformation from a girl to a young woman.
Kindra Mann, a Los Angeles’s successful MUA, unveiled to us the preparation and realization of Maisie Williams’s makeup! We’ve had the opportunity to interview her and she told us all the tricks and tips and products of these two make-up looks worn by Maisie on two of the world’s most famous red carpet: Golden Globes and SAG Awards.

MAISIE WILLIAMS MAKE UP – THE CLASSIC BEAUTY LOOK

Maisie Pinky Dress at the SAG Awards
Maisie was wearing a really beautiful floor length pink dress on the red carpet for the SAG Awards, so we drew our inspiration from the dress and designed the makeup and hair around it. We knew we wanted to have a romantic glamorous look with a very simple eye and let the bold deep berry lip be the focal point.
Maisie Williams Make Up – Prepping the skin: The glam session started off by using Lorac Light Source Primer to prep the skin for makeup and give it a luminous glow. Next, using Lorac Sheer Porefection Foundation in Light, I evened out Maisie’s skin. I then set the makeup using Lorac Porefection Baked Porefection Powder in Light.
Maisie Williams Make Up – The eyes: I wanted the eyes to be natural and romantic, so I kept them soft by just using a wash of a light pink matte color on them (Lorac Pro Palette 3). For the base I applied Canvas all over the lid. Then I went in and applied Pink Nude to the lid and into the crease. To add a little depth to the eye, I took a slightly darker shade in Clay to the crease and blended it. I finished off the makeup look by brushing the brows in place and adding a few coats of black mascara to the lashes.
Maisie Williams Make Up – The cheecks: On the cheeks I used a Nice Color Source Buildable blush in Tinge to warm the cheeks and then added a bit of Lorac Light Source Illuminating Highlighter in Starlight for added glow.
Maisie Williams Make Up – The protagonist aka the Lips: Lastly for that bold deep berry lip we used . Lorac PRO liquid lipstick in Black Cherry and Lorac Alter Ego lip liner Dominatrix.

Maisie Yellowy Look at the Golden Globes
Maisie was wearing a really fun floor length yellow dress with edgy accessories on the carpet for Golden Globes, so we drew our inspiration from the dress and designed the makeup and hair around it. We knew we wanted to have a fun glamorous look with a bit of a smokey eye but using more gold and brown tones that would pair nicely with the dress and with the shimmery nude and coppery lip color.
Maisie Williams Make Up – Prepping the skin: The glam session started off by using the Burt’s Bees Sensitive Skin Wipes and Burt’s Bees Eye Makeup Remover Pads to remove any access oils or any makeup leftover on the skin. Next I applied Burt’s Bees Skin Nourishment Daily Lotion on the face and down the neck. For the makeup, I prepped the skin with Burt’s Bees BB Cream in Light/Medium. For added coverage I used Magic Foundation in shade #4 by Charlotte Tilbury. I set the makeup using Charlotte Tilbury Powder in #1 and Laura Mercier Secret Brighting Powder under the eyes.
Maisie Williams Make Up – The protagonists aka the eyes: I wanted the eyes to really stand out and sparkle, so I started off by grooming the brows using #5 Gimme Brow by Benefit and then prepped the eye with MAC Cream Shadow Pot in Indian Wood. Then I mixed two different shades of gold from Charlotte Tilbury, The Dolce Vita and The Legendary Muse Eye Shadow palettes, to really activate that sparkly look. I lined the top and bottom lashes using Lancôme Drama Liquid-Pencil in Brun which is a nice soft metallic chocolate brown giving the eye a softer smokey look. I finished the eyes off with a few coats of Lancôme Grandiose Mascara in black and Ardell Fauxmink Lashes in #110.
Maisie Williams Make Up – The cheecks: On the cheeks I used a nice soft shimmery blush by Chanel, #68 Rose Ecrin, and Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow bronzer to contour and warm the skin.
Maisie Williams Make Up – The lips: On the lips, I started off using Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer in Caramel to hydrate and then applied Burt’s Bees Gloss Lip Crayon in Outback Oasis on top of that. To top it off and give it extra sparkle, I used Burt’s Bees Lip Gloss in Solar Eclipse.

[…] One of my make up looks I’m most proud of is Maisie Williams makeup from last years SAG awards. It was a really different approach we were going for. Maisie is always such a great sport and willing to try new and exciting things so the whole process was just really fun and collaborative (read here everything about that look). […]
