For FW24, Marco De Vincenzo proposes a staging for Etro, a true theater of humanity where being oneself is the key to authentic beauty, unafraid to express itself (even in terms of makeup), now more than ever.

The Beauty Look
For the runway makeup look, NARS, with its team of makeup artists including Maurizio Calabrò, Luciano Chiarello, and Cherelle Lazarus, played with the element of color and its multiple possibilities, applied to eyes or lips.
“We wanted to create a couple of looks that played with the element of color and complemented each other,” Cherelle Lazarus told us backstage. “On one hand, we have yellow and green that convey joy and happiness, on the other hand, there are glossy lips, which are the current trend with a glass skin effect. For this second look, the focus is on a beautiful intense red lipstick.” The models, on the other hand, intentionally have a “tired” appearance, reminiscent of the youthful movements of the 90s.

The base is left natural and luminous. The eyebrows are thick and brushed upwards, while colorful eyeshadows or intense red lips are the respective focal points of the two looks proposed for this runway. The green eyeshadow with a hint of yellow is found on the lower lash line, while a warm and luminous shade is applied to the eyelid to emphasize the gaze. A touch of Climax mascara is the final touch for added definition, while the lips are subtly accentuated for a full yet natural finish.
For the second look, the base and eyebrows remain the same, but the lips take center stage. They are defined by the Powermatte High-Intensity Lip Pencil in the Cruella shade and filled in with Powermatte Lip Pigment in the Under My Thumb and Rock With You shades, blended together for an intense and long-lasting result. Where the lips are the focus, the gaze is simply framed by mascara and an “eyeshadow” with a glossy effect given by the Afterglow Lip Shine Triple X, creating balance.
Everything is encapsulated by hairstyles with either long and dense braids or natural wet-effect hair, both reminiscent of the 90s but with a chic twist.
