Inspiration
That Rachel’s classic black dress (an asymmetric cut by Vinnoet) and sleek top chignon inspired a ’60s-styled makeup look.
For The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel star and Golden-Globe Winner, Lisa Aharon created a flawless base, nude lips and mesmerizing eyes, dramatized by the dark colors of the eyeshadow and yet soft and with thoroughly blended colors.
The Skin

Lisa began by prepping Rachel’s skin with Laura Mercier Perfecting Water Moisture Mist and her lips with Laura Mercier Infusion de Rose Nourishing Lip Balm.
After that, she layered on moisturizer and lightly applied Laura Mercier Foundation Primer to the face and Laura Mercier Eye Basics in Linen over her eyelid, to ensure everything stayed in place for the duration of the evening.
To achieve the star’s glowing complexion, Aharon used Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Foundation in Cashew and Laura Mercier Candleglow Concealer and Highlighter in Shade #0.5.
The Cheeks

In order to give a lively touch of color to Rachel’s skin, Lisa patted a bit of Laura Mercier Creme Cheek Colour in Canyon with a foundation brush over the star’s apples and high points of her cheek.
The Eyes

To achieve the dramatic and smoldering effect from the eyes, while still keeping them soft, Lisa used a combination of Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in the shades Amethyst and Burnished Bronze.
The two colors blended together seamlessly create a fresh new shade for the star’s eye color.
After an eyelash curl and a few coats of Laura Mercier Long Lash Mascara in Black, to both the top and bottom lashes, Lisa also applied a small amount of Laura Mercier Longwear Crème Eye Pencil in Noir to the lash line.
The Lips

For subtly colored lips, Aharon sketched Laura Mercier Lip Pencil in Plumberry, around the edges and filled in with a new Lipstick from Laura Mercier: Velour Extreme Matte Lipstick in Vibe.
