Comfort and femininity.
With its F/W 2018 collection, Les Copains speaks to a woman who loves the practicality and timeless fashion, who knows how to reinvent herself every day and in every occasion, and who is able to make her own every garment or accessory that she wears. A daring, enigmatic and always modern woman then, who, among her inspirations, has the haughty and disturbing fascination of the Capucine model and the elegant figure of the Duchess Altea of Vallenberg, a character of Diabolik. A woman who knows how to be, regardless of the age or image that she wants to communicate.
The intent behind the creations of Stefania Bandiera, the creative director, is to give life to suspended in time, unique and different looks, just like those who wear them. They are mostly casual suits, perfect for the metropolitan and mundane environment, where the dress serves as a way through which the potential and the beauty of the woman are exalted and amplified.

STRIPES
The fashion show begins, the catwalk lights up red and then gradually fades towards the white, that puts in full light the models from any point of view. The outfits are essential in terms of shapes but made original by details (such as puffed sleeves, embroidery on transparencies and precious inserts of some clothes), and accessories: skirts and shirts, tight clothes, scarves with fringes, over-size sweaters and soft coats compose the collection that meets different tastes and needs, from wanting to be at the center of attention during an evening to combine elegance and comfort for the day’s commitments.
Details and Accessories are Protagonists
Among the materials used the are leather, wool, lace, tulle, silk, and satin, while the knee-high boots and the large extremely practical bags, designed to bring with them both the essential and not, are the must-have accessories. The range of colors undergoes a gradual evolution: from the yellow to the beige of the first looks, to the blue and the white of the following ones, up to the black and the blue of the lasts. Among the recurring motifs, there are the knitted embroidery, the lines, the ornamental decorations (both of classic and modern taste, like those that form what looks like a bra in sight), the animalier (on a blue background!) and the images of angels that remind those of Renaissance paintings.

With this collection, the stylist, together with the CEO of Les Copains Alessandro Mariani, wanted to mix the historical heritage of the brand with a new contemporary that rests on the solid foundations represented by the concepts of quality and value, which have always distinguished the essence of the brand and its iconic pieces.
SPARKLING
The Essence of Past and Present
The idea of tradition, combined with the attention to the inspirations coming from reality, transpires with strength from every look, provoking in those who admire it (and wear it) a feeling of suspended and undefined time, where everything has yet to be written and defined. Looking to the future without forgetting the past, this was the choice of success that made the collection F/W 2018 of Les Copains original, trendy and immortal at the same time.
