Jamie is an amazing and talented makeup artist based in Los Angeles, doing the makeup of several stars of the music and cinema worlds. With craft, creativity and a never-ending research of inspiration, Jamie stood out in the makeup industry and we fall head over heels for her looks every time!

Inspiration

We kept the makeup look very fresh: just a touch of smoky while still remaining light and airy, to complement the feel of her feminine, floral Valentino dress.
Everything, in general, is ethereal!

The Skin

Rashida Jones MakeUp

First of all, to create a clean canvas and for removing any dirt and/ or makeup from Rashida’s skin, Jamie used the ALMAY Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes. We love to start from a clean and prepped base!

Then, Jamie applied a new foundation by Almay, Best Blend Forever Makeup in the shade Naked, covering any imperfections and buffing complexion into a flawless finish. To add a touch of radiance in the night of the golden shine, Jamie swiped on  Instant Glow Highlighting Duo to Rashida’s cheeks and brow bone.

The Eyes

To dramatize and add a little bit more weight to Rashida’s brows, Jamie filled them with Brow Pencil in Dark Blonde. For the eye, it was created a soft but pretty smokey eye, perfectly balanced with the Valentino outfit. Then, Jamie applied the Almay Shadow Squad Eyeshadow in Pure Gold, Baby to her upper eyelid and lightly under the lower lashline. Only on the upper lid, to add color and dimension, it was blended the eyeshadow in Unapologetic.

To add further definition, Jamie lined Rashida’s upper lid with a combination of layered Almay liquid liners, in two different colors. She started with a foundation line of Liquid Eyeliner in Brown, topped with the one in Black. Then, to make the eyes stand out even more, she filled Rashida’s lash line with Eyeliner in Brown.

Then, long, thick lashes make a difference! To complete the eye look, Jamie used a coat of mascara: more precisely, the Liquid Lash Extenders Mascara by Almay.

The Lips

Important nights call for special lipsticks.
Bringing the look together, Jamie added a finishing touch with the Smart Shade Butter Kiss Lipstick. For the shade, she chose a lovely, rich dark nude (the nuance is called Berry Medium).
