London, the capital of punk, fish and chips, and… fashion!
From September 14th to 19th, and after a promising debut in New York, the fashion month moved to the British capital, where fashion lovers and celebrities discovered the designers’ proposal for Spring/Summer 2019.
From the neutrality of Alexa Chung to the ethereal beauty of Temperley London, going through the awaited debut of Riccardo Tisci as the new creative director of Burberry, here are the collections that made our hearts beat during this LFW. God save the Queen, and the fashion week as well!

ALEXA CHUNG
__________
For her Spring/Summer debut on the catwalk, Alexa Chung designed looks ranging from clothes to suits, while keeping a certain simplicity and neutrality that can be translated into the concept of “Absolute versatility.” From the black silk petticoats to the anti-rain coats, through total jeans looks, trendy shoes and formal jackets, Alexa Chung thought about the tastes and needs of her millions of followers adding a touch of her distinctive style and achieving by this way an effective result that it is a prelude to a long, or at least hopefully long, path as a designer.

DELPOZO
__________
When fashion meets art: with his latest collection, Delpozo gave birth to a floating and ethereal fashion show, like a blossoming flower. And we are not accidentally speaking about flowers since a headdress that recalls a bouquet characterized every look. The dominant pastel shades are occasionally interrupted by brighter hues, such as red and purple, as well as the lightness of silk or tulle, alternated with the heaviness of brocade. Transparencies, monochrome outfits, floral and striped motifs gave life to a premature spring able to make us dreaming over every garment and, above all, to surprise us.

MARTA JAKUBOWSKI
__________
Welcome to the ’90s! The collection of the young designer is a millennial return of those looks that were fashionable in the last decades: belt bags, sleeveless cardigan paired with large skirts, the python and the knotted tops are just some of the key elements seen on the catwalk, along with the wide lines and the bright colors. In other words, it is the perfect collection to look at the past without forgetting the present, while aiming for the future at the same time.

BURBERRY
__________
His name is Riccardo Tisci. The brand is Burberry. The meeting between these two elements is “Kingdom,” the debut collection of the Italian designer. The fashion show, divided into three sections –Refined, Relaxed, and Evening– contains all the typical elements of the British Maison, with an extra touch given by the sophisticated and modern realism of Tisci. A vision that, drawing inspiration from the archives of the ’80s and leaving wide space for men, includes raincoats, nude suits, black evening dresses, mini belt bags, jackets and leather skirts, the quote “Why did they kill Bambi,” taken from a Sex Pistols song, and the appearance of the new Burberry Monogram. An original debut, with its 134 looks, that announces a truth that until now had always seemed far away: the Tisci era at Burberry’s has just begun, and we cannot wait to discover where it will push us and itself.

PETER PILOTTO
__________
When the location is matchy-matchy with the collection…The Peter Pilotto fashion show, in fact, was held at the colorful Trader Vic’s Restaurant of the Hilton Hotel, and the collection is an equally colorful and eccentric tribute to the ’70s, where soft shapes and iridescent prints are dominant. From the pajamas suits to the wide evening dresses, going through the disco ball-shaped handbags, which will be one of our must-haves for the next season and bright floral motifs, Peter Pilotto gave life to a dream, or rather an early summer party which is retro, exotic and fascinated as a sunset in the Polynesian beaches.

TEMPERLEY LONDON
__________
Temperley London rhymes with feminism, refined details and lightness. This last collection of the brand is inspired by summer, the ballet’s world, nature and art, and it makes our hearts beating thanks to its ethereal beauty, its pastel shades and its creative motifs. The icing on the cake of this fashion show was the presence of celebrities such as Nathalie Emmanuel, Olga Kurylenko, Laura Bailey, Ellen von Unwerth, who walked the catwalk. Bravo Temperley London, a real vision!
