Coral Peña, after playing a CIA agent in “The Enemy Within,” is ready to make us emotional with her new character, Lydia, in “The Wisdom Tooth,” between a stain of ketchup and the passion for acting that never ceases to surprise her with exciting challenges.
Has “acting” always been the one for you?

My family has always supported it so I would say yes. There has never been a time that I didn’t love it!
So far, you have crossed quite a few genres, which one is your favorite and which one do you find the most challenging?
________
All are my favorite and all the most challenging! I’m just at the beginning of my career, I’m sure other challenges will come my way.

On “The Enemy Within,” what can you tell us about your character?

Anna Cruz just wants to be a part of something bigger than herself. But she definitely plays by her own rules.
If you were to be a real CIA agent what “unsolved” mystery you would investigate?
________
Oh gosh! I don’t think I have the heart to try to solve a mystery in real life…I’m too empathetic.

On “The Wisdom Tooth,” how did you connect with your character Lydia?
________
Lydia is dealing with a heartbreak and is in a very vulnerable place in the movie. I think we’ve all had our heart broken and questioned where we belong.

What’s your guilty pleasure movie?

“The Cabin in the Woods.”
What’s a classic movie you are “ashamed” to admit you’ve never seen?
________
Too many. “Gone with the Wind” is the biggest one I can think of off the top of my head.

I dropped ketchup on a white shirt…not my finest moment.
