Chanel: A Journey “Dans Le Champs de Chanel”

Chanel N° 5 is an iconic formula, not only for the Maison but for the whole beauty world, and its unmistakable fragrance is possible thanks to the delicate flowers infused in the formula, especially the so-called Rose of May, also known as Rosa Centifolia.

This flower originates in the South of France and it has hundreds of petals and a unique, intense olfactory power. This flower has been cultivated exactly in Grasse since the beginning of the 20th century.
Chanel takes us on a journey to discover the May rose, paying homage to its delicate scent in the month that gives this beautiful flower its name: a trip to the Chanel rose fields (but not only roses: Jasmine, Tuberose and Iris Pallida have joined the rose fields in recent years) where the rose is harvested in the morning before the sun hurts the fragile petals.

The brand guides us on a virtual tour in the fields where the Mul family has been in partnership with the brand since 1987 to produce the best flowers. The family also takes care of the extraction to create the fragrances destined to make history in the world of beauty, just like N° 5.

On the occasion of Pride 2020, Marc Jacobs Beauty launches five new colors of Enamored Hydrating Lip Gloss Stick, enriched with a rainbow packaging for the occasion. Moreover, it will donate $10,000 to two LBGTQ+ organizations, a battle against discrimination that has always been dear to the founders.
The two organizations to receive the generous donation will be Le Refuge, a French suicide prevention line for LGBTQ+ youth, and Sage, a US organization that provides support for the older members of the LGBTQ + community.

In addition, the brand presents a colorful rainbow packaging for the five new shades of the Enamored lip gloss, a veil of light color and a comfortable texture that leaves the radiant finish of a gloss on the lips with maximum comfort.
