Kenzo launches its first beauty Product…and it’s a Palette!
The World Eye Palette, with its 8 shimmery nuances, is the first ever piece of makeup produced by the Fashion Maison. Available from October 2018, the eye-shaped colors space from bright turquoise to dark purple to beiges and nude shades, for day and night makeup looks.
New Violette x Estée Lauder Collection
The new La Dangereuse limited edition collection, dropping at the beginning of October in the UK market, is the newest little gem created by Estée Lauder and the Estée Beauty Director Violette. Among the new products, we can count lipsticks and lip colors, beautiful glittery eye crayons and eye glosses, a sculpting face trio and two palettes with mesmerizing shades, from metallic bronzes to bright red to electric blue. As the name suggests, the new collection will evoke the spirit in the Femme Fatale inside of you: bold, confident and beautiful.
Kaia Gerber New Makeup Ambassador for YSL
Did you see the makeup that Tom Pecheux did for Kaia Gerber, to celebrate her entering in the YSL family? The model is the new makeup ambassador for the brand, after being Face of Marc Jacobs beauty, and stated, “To be the new face of YSL Beauté is an opportunity to write a new story full of fun, color, and makeup. I love the DNA of a brand.”
Starting from January, Kaia will appear on the brand’s campaign for the lipstick Rouge Volupté Shine, the Touche Éclat and many more.
Lila Moss is the new Face of Marc Jacobs Beauty
Lila Moss, 16 years old, is the new face of Marc Jacobs beauty. The beautiful daughter of Kate Moss is a long-time acquaintance of Marc Jacobs, who’s been friend with her mother since their first collaboration in 1993 for the Grunge Collection. So it will be a really heartfelt and promising collaboration, with Jacobs stating, “When Lila came to NYC to work with us in July to be the face of our latest beauty campaign it felt a bit like an intersection of my personal and professional life coming full circle.”
Val Garland’s New Book about Makeup and Fighting for your Dreams
Internationally recognized as one of the best makeup artists in the industry, Val Garland recently published an Anthology of her best (and personal favorites) editorial makeups. Garland writes, “I like to treat all my women or men as equal paintings in front of me. This is a book of images that I loved doing and that I felt inspired by. It’s all about the make-up.”
These inspiring words bring us to a universe of beauty, backstages, and faces, through makeup and her truth on being a makeup artist.
Clinique and #MyEvenBetter Project
Beauty comes in different forms and colors, but the most important thing is for beauty to be real.
Clinique knows it and also knows that the majority of people who purchase beauty (in this case, the bestseller foundation My Even Better) is beautiful and unique in a very different way than the faces that we usually see on magazines and commercials. So, through this video and an inspiring campaign, Clinique brought together real people, of all ethnicities and ages, to be the real mirror of beauty and to represent not only the brand’s Even Better foundation, but their own beauty, routine and real-life story together with the best selling product.
Phillipe and David Blond x MAC
Did you know? Before founding the luxury brand The Blonds, Phillipe and Davis Blond worked as freelance makeup artists. Now they’re back at MAC Cosmetics with “MAC The Blonds Bombshell Essentials” a diamond and studs-infused collection with a lively and strong character (both in the packaging and the shades). Two bold lipsticks, with our favorite being the burgundy one, lip glosses, a luxuriously-packaged highlighter, an eyeliner and even lashes with tiny studs on the lashline.

Chill Owt by Fenty Beauty & New Stunnas
A frosty, almost futuristic feeling marks the Christmas edition by Fenty Beauty as something very different from the other brands: it chooses to explore the colder side of winter, bringing us almost all the way to the pole with blues, icy whites, metallic and frosted shades. The Collection is composed by a palette of highlighters (7 shades in a creamy/powdery texture), pigments for body and eyes in lively colors, from berry to copper to orange and three sets of highlighting pencils. The first set had amber and rose tones, the second one electric blue and purple and the third one golden and white.
The Christmas collection Chill Owt also represented the perfect moment for Rihanna to go back to her beloved (and much appreciated) beauty tutorials on Youtube. On the official YouTube Channel of Fenty Beauty, in fact, we can find a new tutorial by RiRi all about Chill Owt!
Recently, though, the brand by Rihanna has also released brand new shades of its best-seller liquid lipstick Stunna – the first being Uncensored, the universally flattering red lipstick that made us fall head over heels last year.
Now Stunna is available in Black (Univited), Brown (Unveil), a peachy nude and a rosy nude, respectively Uncuffed and Unbutton.
Huda Beauty new Nude Palette
We fell hard for this palette, that mixes mattes and glitters for the ultimate combination of nude and glam. The palette is composed of 17 shades of beiges, peaches, reds and purples, and one primer for achieving the best result possible.
From duo-chrome shades, pearl finishes and one pressed pigment for a boost of highlighting to your eye look.
Rituel de Fille Dark Constellations
Six brand new shades of creamy eyeshadows, all with vibrant and bright colors (going from the electric turquoise to the thick gold) and the well-known mesmerizing allure of the brand. The shades are Cassiopeia (a glittery black), Corona Borealis and Andromeda (light and deep blue), Hydra, Corvus e Serpens. Already out of stock, these shades are all limited editions and online only!
Shimmer & Shine by Clarins
Three new products with a baby pink shimmery package and breathlessly shining textures: this is the Christmas Capsule Collection by Clarins.
Let’s start with the highlighter, a pressed powder with a velvet finish and microspheres in gold to achieve the perfect shimmer on cheekbones, shoulders or under the eyebrows.
There are also two new shades for the best-sellers Lip Oils, a bright red with gold flakes and bright tangerine orange.
Last, but not the least, the ultimate accessory for the Holidays: a golden mascara, highly pigmented and deeply brightening, perfect both used alone and as a top-coat.
Libre Maximalisme de Chanel
This time Lucia Pica digs to one of the less famous symbols of the brand, the lion, going back to the roots for a mesmerizing limited edition focused on elegance.
The main shades are red and brown, mixed on different products and in different hues, both with matte and metallic finishes. The Christmas Collection will be coated in luxury with a gold and red packaging, the Lion Head carved on the powder products, from the bronzers to the mono eyeshadows, and a vast range of new products.
Rossetti Powder Kisses by MAC
A brand new permanent collection of 17 matte shades, tested on the last New York Fashion Week: Mac thinks about the matte-lovers for this collection of beautiful shades (mostly nude, but with reds and browns as well) but, most of all, dedicated it to those who think that matte shades are not comfortable to wear.
With a high staying power, a velvety texture and a buttery feeling on the lips, this collection launching on October 11 is going to change our idea of matte forever!
The Shine Factor by Marc Jacobs
Breath in the festive mood with the new collection by Marc Jacobs! The Shine factor is a brand new collection with a strong ’60 vibe entirely based on shining and luxurious textures, deep nuances and golden package. It’s composed by 6 new shiny eyeshadows, a peachy highlighter with micro-glitters inside and a rose-gold lip gloss, for bright lips with a delicate mint scent. Is Shiny your favorite color, as well?
Pretty Puppy & Gingerbread Limited edition by Too Faced
The lovely chihuahua Clover is the protagonist of this new festive collection by Too Faced: a collection that comprehends a cartoon-shaped palette with six shades, both matte and metallic, a melted matte liquid lipstick in nude pink. The collection also comprehends a beautiful puppy toy. Clover is undoubtedly delighted with his humans, Jarrod Blandino and Jeremy Johnson (and with their brand)!
But for Christmas, Too Faced proposes us also something super yummy: the limited Edition Gingerbread collection. The star is a palette with 18 shades, with shiny and matte eyeshadows but all with “burned” and warm colors and a gingerbread-scented liquid lipstick in a rich brown.
Anastasia Beverly Hills: Sultry Palette and New Loose Glitters
14 shades that go from glimmery white to a deep shade of matte red: this is the new Sultry Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills, that mixes the magical Christmas spirit to high pigmentation and lively colors. The packaging is festive as the colors on the inside, with a predominance of red (found in the beautiful “Bloom” shade) and glitters.
But that’s not the only juicy news from ABH!
Finally, the most-awaited (and frequently hinted on Instagram) glitters are out: 5,4 grams of pure glitter powder, in 8 shades (green, pink, white and gold, among the others) for bringing our shimmer to a whole other level.
New Nyx Machinist Collection
After launching a new foundation, Can’t Stop Won’t Stop, which is already a massive favorite on Instagram, Nyx offers a new fall limited collection with a rock’n’roll soul. Highlighters Duo, lip tints, glosses and a beautiful series of eye palettes with a touch of punk rock: this is the new limited edition Machinist Collection, inspired by fall colors and mixing autumn and punk rock vibes.
The three eye palettes are called Ignite, Steam, and Grind, and all have electric shades: from blue to purple to green, for a real punk-rock look!

WYCON ITALY X ELISA D’OSPINA NEW COLLAB
_________
On September 12th there was in Milan the launch of the Wycon collection in collaboration with the curvy Italian model Elisa D’Ospina. Committed to the campaign against eating disorders, television personality and writer, Elisa created a practical, sensual and Mediterranean collection, conceived for a busy woman (“or for a man as well,” marked Elisa), aware of her strength and beauty. The collection consists of lipsticks, concealers, a palette and eyes’ pencils, all essential products and, as it was emphasized by Elisa, inspired by her everyday beauty. We had the opportunity to interview her to discover more about the collection, her work and her ideal of freedom.

Model, writer, blogger, testimonial against anorexia: how do you think you have grown in these years thanks to these experiences and how did you approach the beauty world?
__________________
I grew up by listening to so many stories every day, I think I was enriched by others, and also because I made some little mistakes along the way. At the beauty world I arrived thanks to the knowledge with the marketing manager of Wycon, with whom we did very important activities in the prevention of anorexia and bulimia, and as soon as there was the opportunity we strengthened our collaboration, that was born as a friendship.
I think that finding the same people in your path is a good luck and an act of esteem, because being close to someone is a little bit an act of love. He wanted with this collection to give a very strong signal, rewarding at the same time my path, and for this reason I am flattered.

Being self-confident is not easy in a world full of stereotypes that are unattainable for most women: how can you maintain a strong self-esteem and, based on your path, what advice would you give to girls today to not be too much influenced from what they see?

I am a healthy woman and when you are healthy you are the richest person in the world.
I don’t lack anything, I work a lot, my physique has always been a communication vehicle, so what am I supposed to blame myself for? Maybe Mother Nature that made me 1.84cm and curvy, Mediterranean? If you see what are the real problems in life you understand that the problem is not the size or the stretch marks. And then not to believe too much to what you see, I always say this during my meetings, because much of what you see is photoshopped, and that’s something that also the fashion photographers who take those photos admit.

For what concerns beauty, my collection is basic and essential and it is useful to brighten a look, the everyday life of a person. For fashion I would say to find your own style, I do not want to dictate trends, I also teach on television that every physicality looks better with some models while other ones can penalize it, but if you’re proud of your body you can wear everything, it’s nice to break the rules sometimes. If you know your personal style you can go anywhere, because it says a lot about you.
