We all know that Pinterest is a place where trends are unveiled and people connect to share, chat and pin everything beauty. Argentina loves glitter appliques for makeup, while in Australia the love given to rose gold eyeshadow has increased by 188%. In the US, the trendiest color though seems to be purple, the Pantone of the year, with special kudos to ombre nails.

Our Top 3 of the Emmy Awards
In a world were TV shows are growing and growing, gaining more followers and binge-watchers every day, the Emmy Awards have become one of the most feared, anticipated and longed-for appointments of the year.
In LA, worthy TV shows and beloved characters and actors have been awarded by the famous Emmy Award.
But what were the most outstanding beauty looks on the red carpet? Among the beautiful actresses and personalities that walked under the spotlight, yesterday, here are our favorites: our very best picks.
They may not have won a golden statue (or maybe they did! ) but, for sure, they won the night!
Jessica Biel
“A pre-Rapahelite feeling”: that’s how Kara Yoshimoto Bua defined her inspiration for the beauty look she created for Jessica Biel. The lead of “The Sinner” walked down the red carpet all in white (funny, considering her character’s journey through truth and redemption) and with a makeup that was radiant with a romantic allure, signed by Chanel Beauty.
We loved, in particular, the contrast between the flawless base and the berry blurred lipstick.
Thandie Newton
A blast of pink was the color of choice for Thandie’s lids: Georgie Eisdell used a powerful combination of bright pink, cherry and champagne shimmery hues to create the perfect lively makeup for the night, which was matched with an equally bright pink gown.
The look (which was quite bright and created using Pat McGrath Labs products) was down-tuned thanks to a matte base, warmed up with just a touch of blush, and completed with pink-nude lips.
Hairstylist Sheridan Ward gave the finishing touch to the beauty look with a sophisticated updo.
Scarlett Johannson
Frankie Boyd used Pat McGrath Labs for the shiny makeup of Scarlett Johansson, adding a touch of color and (undoubtedly) some shimmer to her white Balmain dress.
Matched to a nude eyeshadow, a matte flawless base and a dust of pink blush – without forgetting a generous coat of black mascara to further dramatize the gaze — the actress wore a colorful yellow eyeshadow that we will not forget soon. It was, in fact, blended in the inner corner of the eyes and defined with a thick black eyeliner.
And what about that absolutely glamorous highlighter on the cheekbones? We loved it!
