Beauty News March – Dr. Roebuck’s lands at Sephora Italia
Born in Australia from the minds of the sisters Kim and Zoe, this brand dedicated to the skincare “the Aussie Way,” which was much-appreciated worldwide and it’s now finally available in Italy as well.
Deeply rooted in its land of origin, thanks to the “local“ ingredients and the relaxed and nature-oriented mood that drives the brand, Dr. Roebuck’s is a great way to pamper and restore the skin in full respect of the environment (all products are 100% cruelty free and sustainable) while drawing from a genuine and heartfelt family tradition. Zoe and Kim based their brand on the formulas researched and tested by their parents, both doctors, in 1978: today, Dr. Roebuck’s offers the perks of healthy and bright complexion all over the world. Based on effective and thoroughly tested formulas, thanks also to the medical background of Kim and Zoe’s family, this brand uses the minimum number of ingredients to increase their effectiveness. Beauty News March – Zendaya is the new Lancôme Ambassador
Adding herself to the list of Lancôme’s Women Ambassador, twenty-two-year-old Zendaya becomes the youngest ambassador of the brand. The singer and actress joins the brand, which already counts names such as Lupita Nyong’o and Taylor Hill, to represent the brand, as officially announced with a party in Los Angeles. “It’s a great honor for me to represent an iconic brand like Lancôme alongside so many iconic women,” said Zendaya, who also defined the brand as “a symbol of elegance.” On the other hand, the brand’s leaders and the CEO Françoise Lehmann cherish the young, modern and unique approach that Zendaya showed towards beauty, making it the perfect face for the creative vision of the brand. This great recognition for Zendaya happens a few days after the announcement of the fashion collaboration between the star and Tommy Hilfiger, with the girl creating a ‘70s-inspired line for the fashion giant.
Beauty News March – Alex Steinherr x Primark Gets an Update
During the holidays, we talked about the launch of this collection, but the “low cost, high result” collaboration Alex Steinherr ft. Primark has now been expanded with two new products, designed for stressed and city life-proved skin.
The new adds-up are, respectively, the “Pollution Solution Dual Textured Pads” and the face mask “Pollution Solution City Mask,” designed for a woman who lives the city every day and whose skin needs that extra cuddle and attention. Always fond of skincare, Alex Steinherr put all her expertise in these new products.
The “Pollution Solution Dual Textured Pads,” enriched with lactic acid and Nicotinamide, help the skin to absorb the other products thanks to its effective formula fully and with two sides (one rough to exfoliate and one smooth to finish-up and enlighten the complexion). This product helps to improve the conditions of skin damaged by pollution, while the mask embraces the “playful” spirit of the Steinherr-designed line since the product comes in two phases: an essence that has to be mixed with a special powder. This product reminds us how Steinherr wanted us to create products that would make skincare fun and not a daily chore, but the mask is not only entertaining: based on amino acids, allantoin, and hyaluronic acid, its formula helps purify and soothe the skin, giving it new life.
The line that Steinherr presented at the beginning of 2019 was specifically designed to address every type of skin issue with ad hoc products, ranging from the lines dedicated to dull skin seeking for a radiance boost (Plump & Glow) to the one dedicated to anti-aging and relax overnight (Sleep SPA).
Beauty News March -Virgin Atlantic removes the mandatory Makeup.
Recently, the British flying company Virgin Atlantic has stirred up some attention for having changed the mandatory requirements for its female staff, who had to wear makeup during work hours. It was, in fact, necessary for the flying attendants’ lipstick to be flawlessly matched with the uniform red jacket, and makeup was a must itself, being “presence” mandatory. As in most international airlines, Virgin Atlantic has a set of guidelines on how to put on makeup to be suitable for the company’s appearance and branding. From now on, though, Virgin Atlantic female workers will no longer be forced “by contract” to wear a popping coral lipstick and can instead follow a nude palette or, if they wish to, they’re free to skip makeup fully. This change in company policy has been met with great enthusiasm on the web, defining the company “feminist” and hoping that it can only be the first step to a better, fairer working environment.
Beauty News March – Cara Delevingne New Face of Dior Stellar Shine
On the February 25th in Paris, during a dinner at Roxie, Maison Dior revealed that Cara Delevingne is going to be the new face of Dior Addict Stellar Shine. It was already anticipated in December but, with the March launch is just beyond the corner, now we’re given a full outlook on the collection. The supermodel will be the star that allows the lipstick created by Peter Philips, Creative Director of MakeUp Dior, to shine fully. The bespoke and confident face of Cara matches perfectly the spirit of the lipstick, which wants to be a celebration of femininity in all its forms, appreciating its nuances, uniqueness and sparkling beauty, and its colors. “Be Dior, Be Pink” was the slogan appointed to the Stellar Shine collection that Cara will represent, paying homage to a broad palette of pinks (which is among the trendiest colors for the next season) with 24 new shades, all sporting a glaze and mirror finish.

The California-based makeup brand has just launched a new collaboration, this time with the British beauty Vlogger Zoella. The “Brunch Date” collection is colorful, yummy with bright and spring-inspired tones, perfect for a look that’s chic and a little cheeky too.
It takes inspiration from a brunch date with friends, both in shades and packaging. In fact, the collection is enriched with mouthwatering patterns: for example, the packaging of the Supernova Shadow (with cakes on it) or the “waffle style” Brunch Date Palette.
The palette is composed of 12 powder eyeshadows with delicious names and both shimmer and matte finishes (Brunch Club, an extremely pigmented cobalt blue, is an exciting color). The complete collection consists of three Ultra Matte Lips, two Creme Gel Liners (in brown and black), two shimmer Supernova Shadows, a pressed powder blush, a highlighter and three shades of lip pencil.

Beauty News March – Glossier Milky Oil
Problems with removing waterproof makeup? Glossier has heard us and created the perfect makeup remover that we can combine with their (already best-selling) Jelly Cleanser: the new Milky Oil. The formula is composed by a balance of micellar water and a light-textured makeup remover oil, while Pro-Vitamin B5 deeply moisturizes while refreshing and invigorating the skin. The life of Glossier Play opens with a parallel Instagram account, exploring the new line by Glossier that (much clearly) takes a different route from the minimal and pastel mood we are accustomed to.
Glossier Play is a lively box filled with colors, glitter, and light that represents the personal version of “playfulness” as seen by Glossier, a playground for beauty lovers.
So far, the line is made of: Vinylic Lip, a shiny lip color, the gel eye pencil Colorslide (available in 14 shades, from brick red to cobalt, one more popping than the other), the Glitter Gelée, a range of four pots with bright and holographic glitter and Niteshine, a liquid highlighter with a metallic finish. We are sure that color enthusiasts will miss this new launch, which is at the same time intriguing and quite far from the idea of beauty that Glossier kept so far: one thing is sure, we can’t wait to try them all!
