Beauty News August – Armani Beauty and the 75th Venice International Film Festival
As we all know, the 75th Venice International Film Festival is just around the corner, ready to stir not only the “waters” of cinema but also of fashion and beauty promising ten days of amazing carpets. The makeup crown, which was appointed to Yves Saint Laurent last year, has been handed over to Armani Beauty. The brand has a long story both with beauty and cinema, and we can’t wait to see the magic of the makeup section offered by the brand to the celebrities who will walk the Italian red carpet.

Thin eyebrows are back! At least according to the new Vogue Cover, in which RiRi flaunts a beautiful makeup, luxurious flower crowns and incredibly thin, somehow back-to-‘90s, eyebrows. “Thin eyebrows are just beautiful, very ladylike… but it’s still punk,” said the singer and founder of Fenty Beauty regarding the look created by Isamaya Ffrench. Artistic choice or are we at the end of the era of natural eyebrows?
Beauty News August – H&M Launches New Collection
This July, the famous brand announced a new upcoming line. Focusing on high-quality ingredients, new and exciting scents and a lovely, although simple, packaging, the new collection of 25 fragrances has been created thanks to a close collaboration between H&M and Givaudan, especially with the International Fragrance Prize winner perfumer Olivier Pescheux, creator of many scents for Jil Sander and Yves Saint Laurent, and the raising star Nisrine Grillié.
Beauty News August – Wendy Rowe Global director for Max Factor
At the end of June, Max Factor announced that makeup artist and beauty expert Wendy Rowe had signed as Global Director of the brand and things seem to have been going great so far. The artist, who collaborated with many brands and celebrities like Vogue, Burberry, Chanel and Cameron Diaz, has the difficult task to introduce the iconic brand to a younger, social-inspired target, thinking about a renewed and fresh image for the brand.

The singer, known for the incredible success of her single “Havana,” has been one of the faces of the brand for one year and now her line, of course, inspired by the city that means so much to her, is available! 14-pieces of makeup, from the Havana Lip Dew lip-gloss to the Havana Gotta Give Brow for the perfect natural brows, for a summer collection with a vibrant blue packaging and amazingly affordable prices.
