Beauty News July – Norvina Soare gives her name to the new ABH palette
14 shades, seven shimmers and seven mattes: this is the new ABHxNorvina Palette that draws its name from the CEO of Anastasia Beverly Hills, Norvina Soare. The palette, ready to be released mid-July (more precisely, on July 17th on the ABH website and August 7th at Sephora), is already an Instagram favorite, with its purple case and the fabulous colors, more glittery than any other ABH palette ever.

A bouquet of pink and gold tones, warm and flattery to every skin tone: this is the new summer collection, that sees the lip-art hero Vlada Haggerty and Smashbox paying homage to the trendiest color of last years. The makeup artist managed to mix the elegance of carved petals to the millennial hue of rose gold: from the powder highlighter shaped like a rose, called Petal Metal Powder Highlighter, to the metallic Always On Petal Metal LiquidLipstick and the Be Legendary Metallic Glosses.

The collection, unveiled at the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week and launching on the 27th of September, will comprehend ‘playful yet practical’ and affordable products, from the classic French red lipstick to eye makeup.

That Charlotte Tilbury’s Bar of Gold highlighters are on the wish list of every beauty addict may not sound like a surprise: the pressed powder, shaped like a gold bar, is made by pure Gold Pearls, that will give your skin an instant kick of shimmer. What’s new is that launching July 9, Charlotte Tilbury has created a palette of three highlighters, with the original shade and exclusive new ones never seen before: Rose Gold and Gold Bullion.

16 colors inspired by the reddish sand of the Sahara Desert and the blue Moroccan nights: this is the new Moroccan Spice by Fenty Beauty, whose colors have been carefully selected by Rihanna herself. The new palette has a vast range of finishes (matte, satin, shimmer, pearly and metallic) and beautiful colors, from bright blue to deep purple. The new palette was launched together with an eye primer, a brand new eyeliner (Flyliner, with a water-resistant gel-formula) and two blending brushes for the perfect eye look.

Super Masks and the Do it Yourself Masks are the keywords for the new, updated skincare made in Sephora. The first ones are Korean inspired, bubbly (sometimes quite literally) sheet masks to mattify, detoxify or rescue the skin: bubble masks to balance the skin, mud masks to soothe the skin and primer masks to make it glowy. The second kind of mask comes in lovely little buckets of colorful powders that you have to mix and stir with water: ready in one minute, acts in 5, and just peels off.
The skin is already visibly better looking, and skincare has never been this fun!

After expanding its skincare family with brand new masks, Sephora also broads its makeup offer, focusing on the base and skin with brand new foundations, primers, and blushes for every skin-tone. There will be 15 new shades of matte foundation and powder foundation, as well as a range of 21 new shades of blush, each one in a lovely compact packaging matching the color of the product inside. The perfect ending? A new kit of three makeup sponges, ideal for those who prefer a damp sponge to fingertips for applying the base.
