In 2021, there would be no need to repeat it, yet we’d like to stress it again: makeup is freedom, also the freedom not to wear it, to live with a skin free from any product and shade of color.
Makeup can be crazy; it can be our most powerful accessory and the one we can’t wait to see as the protagonist and, at the same time, making us the protagonists, not so much in the eyes of others but in ours. A small detail or addition of color makes us feel more determined, brave, and sensual. Because while it’s true that we certainly don’t need makeup to feel this way, it’s also true that sometimes it can help.
In this editorial, we wanted to show how, with products that blend with the skin, colors that make the eyes stand out, whatever their color is, everyone can play and have fun with makeup.
And our creative minds joined the one of PRO makeup artist Chantal Ciaffardini to show you how to combine colors, add an unexpected touch of light, bring out your skin glow with products that work as if they were a veil making the skin more even, while “playing” on our face with shadows and lights.
“For us, makeup is, once again, freedom. But it is also creativity, the desire to express oneself even when no one will see the results, the desire to express ourselves when words just aren’t enough and to create a mood, a desire with our face”.
And even if it seems like it’s not the right time to go out and create a makeup look like this, we say: fuck it, let’s do it for us, to feel like a badass (mostly if guided by the hands and genius of Chantal Ciaffardini).
