The backstory of this brand is deeply rooted in an Australian Family, involving two doctors, the sensitive, eczema-prone skin of their twin daughters and a secret family recipe going back to the 70s.
Interesting, is it not? Well, Dr Roebuck’s is precisely this: cutting-edge research, technology and a good, old homemade remedy achieved with natural ingredients. The founders of this Aussie born-and-bred brand are sisters Zoe and Kim, who have perfectioned for 30 years the recipe their parents (both doctors) had made to treat their sensitive and dry skin and created a skincare brand without ever losing sight of the power of native products. The brand was launched online in 2010 and very soon became a must thanks to the excellent results, just as it had become a “must have” for the sisters’ family and friends, who were constantly asking for the homemade remedy. Thus, Kim saw an opportunity to help not only herself and her loved ones, but many people with sensitive, eczema-prone skin around the world.
On the other hand, Zoe followed the steps of her parents, and her scientific knowledge (thanks to a Master Degree in Medical Bioethics from the University of Sydney Medical School) is pivotal in developing the brand’s proprietary formulations, relying on clinical data behind every ingredient she chooses, creating cutting-edge skincare together with her chemist’s team.
