Once upon a time, there was created a creative studio in downtown New York City where something very special was born: the multitasking culture, which took off with its iconic Milk stick.
Milk Makeup was born in the NYC photo studio/gallery that is also the well-known home to Fashion Week’s edgiest, coolest and most creative crowd, a real creative heaven. Milk Studios co-founder Mazdack Rassi founded the brand, together with product developer and COO Dianna Ruth, seasoned Milk Girl and creative director Georgie Greville, and beauty + fashion editor and E! News correspondent Zanna Roberts Rassi. A real dream team that has developed and brought to life (and success!) an iconic brand that has created a whole new niche in the Beauty 2.0, where efficiency, aesthetic and multitasking are God.
The Milk team develops all aspects of the line in-house at Milk Studios, their downtown NYC home, but the waves of their creations and ever-growing range of products are, without a doubt, of international resonance.
The Mission of the Brand
At Milk Makeup, the truest and main belief is good ingredients + epic payoff. Of course, the brand is also cruelty-free, paraben-free, and 100% vegan, in full respect of the world and its necessities: the bunny-certified products show the love of Milk for animals and the profound respect of the brand for the environment.

Lip + Cheek Stick
Probably the most iconic product of the brand, this stick perfectly embodies the modern necessity of having more products in one, which is also easy and immediate to use: this moisturizing stick for lips and cheeks (available in a wide range of colors) leaves a stain of color, easily adjustable or buildable, ideal for a casual but modern look. The comfortable formula leaves a veil of pigmented color on the cheeks and lips in a single movement, which doesn’t dry out the skin and is also easy to blend. It’s also moisturizing, thanks to mango butter and avocado oil.
Blur Stick Primer
A mattifying primer without oils or silicones easy to apply (thanks to the practical stick) and that reduces pores and fine lines, thanks to the dust-filled microspheres for a blurring Photoshop effect. The smooth and velvety formula creates a transparent and opaque base, which improves the makeup performance and allows a longer staying power. This primer is also ideal to be applied alone to balance sebum excess and to reduce imperfections, or as a makeup base, as well as a touch-up above the makeup, to get rid of any unwanted shiny effect on the T zone. Beauty tip: in case of dry skin apply a moisturizing product and let it absorb completely, then apply the Blur Stick by warming it between the fingertips first.
Holographic Stick
One of the most famous highlighting sticks of the web and an iconic best-seller for Milk Makeup, this vegan and holographic product (available in three colors: lavender, peach rose and pink) is enriched with meteorite powder, to give a multi-faceted gleam to cheekbones, eyelids and lips. The iridescent pearls add a radiant touch while the mango butter, as well as coconut and avocado oils, pamper and moisturize the skin.
A little highlighting vegan gem that gives a Galaxy-worthy brightness, for (literally) out-of-this-world looks: the velvety formula is buildable, to adapt to every taste.
Watermelon Brightening Face Mask
A solid mask based on watermelon extract suitable for all skin-types, which lightens, moisturizes and uniforms the skin for a luminous and healthy complexion.
It ensures visible improvements and takes care of darker spots, while the Matrixyl (a complex of biomimetic peptides) improves natural skin elasticity, helping the skin to look smoother. About this mask, we particularly appreciate the formula which remains comfortable through the application, and the absolute comfort of applying it with the stick!
KUSH High Volume Mascara
Doe eyelashes, wide and extra, for a doll’s look? This ultra-volumizing mascara is enriched with hemp seed oil, thickening fibers and pure pigments, and ensures an extra cuddle and an intense, smooth black finish. The heart-shaped fibers of KUSH Mascara work on the lashes giving volume, length and a long-lasting curvature. Unlike the classic cylindrical and thread-like fibers, these empty, heart-shaped fibers adhere to the lashes for a stretched and volumizing effect. Thanks to its nutritional properties that grant benefits and health to the lashes, the hemp seed oil blends with the lashes, thickening their structure without damage, while filling the hollow fibers for a double dose of volume and a thicker effect.

Matcha Toner
An easy-to-apply and rich tonic that is ideal for taking care of large pores, dry skin that needs a veil of hydration and for those complexions that look dull and tired after a stressful period. With this product, Milk has launched the first solid face toner ever: a gel-in-stick that delicately works on the skin, enriching it with a formula that moisturizes, takes care of excess sebum and purifies the pores, restoring a perfect balance. This tonic has a nourishing formula made with matcha green tea to detoxify and declutter, while the kombucha and hamamelis in the formula minimize pores and absorb excess sebum. All the while, the cactus elixir soothes and moisturizes the skin.
