The Christmas of Fenty Beauty by Rihanna definitely stands apart from all other Christmases and, above all, the beauty looks that can be achieved with its products are unique and like no other. For our second beauty episode we changed style completely: if we first went for a bright makeup, full of glitter and sprinkled with the magic of Christmas lights, now we take a new direction and chose to play with colors, to experiment with textures and to suggest a ‘“freestyle” idea of makeup, free of any rule and where every product can be used either for the cheeks, lips or the eyes, following your preferences.

– MONOCHROME: THE NEW PEACH –
With this particular look, we wanted to bring out all the warmest shades of the Fenty Beauty Christmas collection which, for the most part, consists of ice-cold tones.
#Eyes – On the eyes, we applied a mix of products and textures: first of all we dabbed in on the entire eyelid one of the pencils from the Eye and Lip Kit and it blended upwards. We used the Pretty Penny shade, a coppery red that we then faded in with Foxy and Ice Cream shades from the pigments Avalanche All Over Metallic. We then applied the Foxy shade as a final touch with a wet brush, but just in the center of the eye, to add further dimension.
#Lips and Cheeks – On the lips, we used the same mix of nuances we applied on the eye, but in addition, we also used the pencil in Frost Bunny, on the center of the lips to give a super bright effect. We then used the same pencil, heating it up first on the palm of our hand, as a blush and highlighter on the cheeks.

– THE GRAPHIC BLUE –
Ok, maybe it’s not the makeup that we would choose to wear at the Christmas table, but it’s perfect for a party with friends, for New Year’s Eve or if you just feel like experimenting a little with this beautiful color. It is a light blue that has a thousand different shades, at the same time cold and super metallic, and which has been the sole protagonist in this graphic look.
#Eyes – To create the graphic eyeliner we used the pencil in Igloo Bloo, tracing a line from the inside to the outer corner of the eye and then marking the fold of the eye. Then, instead of stopping, we went down a little bit further on the outer corner, to give the whole makeup a more modern look. To make the color more intense, then, we pressed a bit of pigment in the Glacier Gang color, the effect resulted in something slightly less metallic but much more intense.
#Lip and Cheeks – For the lips we decided to stick on a metallic matte, but in the lighter color of the kit, Slush Fund, which has silver shades that make the lips look super icy and dramatic. For the cheeks and nose, instead, we applied one of the metallic pencils in Banana Frost, to give a little brightness and add some glitter.

– PURPLE GAZE –
Also, in this case, the modern graphic vibe is quite strong and it’s expressed through an eyeshadow that ends with a little tail like an eyeliner, painted over the entire eyelid without being blended. A look that is fun and playful, but at the same time fresh and sensual.
#Eyes – On the entire lid and under the lower lashline we used the metallic pencil in the shade Smokin’ Purp, and then we intensified the color with the pigment February, which is another intense violet. We extended the trait of the eyeshadow towards the temples, without blurring it, thus adding length to the eye and making it more intense.
#Lips and Cheeks – To warm up the look a bit and to avoid an effect too “glacial,” as it was for the previous one, for instance, we applied a peach rosé on the lips and cheeks, Guava Mint, enriched with a thousand light reflections: this allowed us to get a look that comes across as fresh even though the eyes are rich in color and nuances.
