________
How your education in art has inspired you, your taste in fashion and your work?
________
That’s actually a very good question, because I thought about it a lot in the last two years but the thing is that I don’t really see a true connection…Of course there is a relation between the two…but I can’t really tell, I was always interested in art but I’ve studied the ‘900s art, the very old one. So I don’t know…It’s something I can’t really explain.
________
How do you think living in different cities has inspired you?
________
I grew up in Spain and then I moved to Germany (Munich). In Spain there were a lot of people, people a little more brave when it comes to fashion and trends, and then I was inspired by the people in the streets wearing those trends. Even more when I moved to London: it’s one of the fashion capitals, there are a lot of crazy people there (laugh)…they do whatever they want to! You can do whatever you want there with fashion, you just go for it. And that’s basically what I’m doing everyday with my style. But for me the Italians are the ones with the best taste on fashion.
________
Who is your favorite designer? One that has inspired you or amazed you in the last fashion weeks?
________
Last season I was at the Erdem show, and think it’s just extraordinary, Erdem is so amazing when it comes to designs. I mean, it’s a little bit hard to wear it in the daily life of course, but it inspires me in the everyday style. Also the Italians go out with always amazing things.
________
Who is your fashion icon?
________
She is a girl, her name is Carlotta Oddi, she works on the same team of Anna Dello Russo for Vogue and I think that her style is tremendous. She is amazing, she just goes for it, and I think she is really brave when it comes to try new trends; she has an experimental style. And I like it a lot.
________
You have so many followers that really love you, among them many young women. How do you think can positively influence them?
________
In a fashion way of style, I can do it. If people see more extravagant outfits in the daily base, I think I can inspired them to be more free with fashion. When I started in fashion I wasn’t like now. Now I always want to try something new, to go further. Sometimes I also go in the wrong direction, but it’s ok, it happens (laugh). I think that in this way people that follow me can be braver.
________
What’s your dream?
________
That’s a very good question…Ah…My dream…I know that so many people say it so many times but I dream to have my own brand. But what could be more important is another project I have: I really like and follow young brands and designers and I think there is a really great niche between the high and the middle range prices. Usually, before a designer really goes up in the sky, it’s not that expensive. And I want to create an online platform, an online shop where I catch those designers before they became really super expensive. I know so many nice brands that are so impossible to get, they don’t have an online shop and maybe available in one store, it’s horrible! Where the F**k I’m going to get it?
I just want to get them on a platform where I can sell them. It’s not a complicated idea but I think no one is really doing it; there is a lot of searching for the right brand in the right place.
________
What’s your everyday inspiration on fashion?
________
Actually, it’s a little bit stupid but…I’m a very chaotic person, I’m not organized. If you come to my apartment you see everything everywhere. Sometimes I see stuff, lying on the floor together or hanging on wrong rail and I say: “Oh My God, that’s amazing! I have to try those together like different patterns”. So yes, just the chaos in my wardrobe, that’s my inspiration (laugh).
________
Your current woman crush?
________
Diana Z | Z HOURS.
________
What do you think is the best part of your job?
________
I know that this could be annoying but I travel so much, I see many people and different things. Sometimes when I’m at press trip, I see so many things. It’s so cool what you can discover around the world. And obviously I get to know new people everyday. It can be a little bit exhausting but it’s so interesting. And of course the face of fashion: fashion is my life.
________
Is there a dream collaboration for you?
________
Yes!! Fendi is one of my favorite brands, I’ve been working with them for a long time now, 2 and a half years. But…Valentino! I’m so in love with Valentino. I’ve never reached out to them so far, but I have to do it. Usually brands reach you, but Valentino?? I never said something like that so far. Maybe is my turn to go there and say: “Hi guys, I’m there!”. I’m waiting for Pierpaolo (laugh).
