Luisa Beccaria never disappoints: that much is something that we’ve learned very fast.
A regular cold and grey winter morning in Milan saw young beautiful women parading, with a touch of pink on their lids and light dresses, as the urban space was turned into a world of pastel colors, wide hats, booths with thick heels and flowery patterns. Opposite to the mixed textures, from lace to lurex, there were fresh faces with light touches of makeup.

Once again a comforting sense of romantic youth, a genuinely dreamy attitude, were the pillars of the Luisa Beccaria Fashion Show.

The woman wearing the refined and retro-chic creations embodies youth and grace, in a naive and playful way that brings us back to our teen years, with soft flushed cheeks (turned pink by blush or by the simple pleasures of life, who knows?) and long lashes.
Cynthia Rivas created a look that’s perfect for every woman, but that reminds us of those days of carefree happiness when flirting was a discovery, a game.
This kind of look takes inspiration from within; it doesn’t search for beauty in others, but focuses on the research for the young girl sleeping in the forgotten corner fo every woman’s soul, enhancing the natural qualities and colors of a young, radiant skin.

So for this kind of makeup the skin was prepped for a light foundation, that leaves it flawless, with many highlights and few matte points on the T-zone. Natural skin – so beautiful.
We have flushed lips and cheeks, enhanced with nude and baby pink creamy shades that can be used on different parts of the face: dab on the lids, used as a blush or light on the lips.
The eyes are enhanced thanks to the black mascara, generously layered on an otherwise clean eye, and few individual lashes.
“Black mascara is always a staple“, says Cynthia, “It’s always good to have for any tipe of look.”
While the eyes are flirty, the brows are groomed and filled up with clear mascara: the important brows help enhancing the classic, natural beauty, making the makeup stand out without really changing anything of the natural beauty of the face.
