The 74th Venice International Film Festival has brought into our lives, as always, an incredible number of beautiful stars. We might say that this event has confirmed itself as a source of inspiration not only for art and cinema but for fashion and beauty as well.
The best Make Up Artists and Hairstylists around the world have shown their mastery and different styles on the actresses, directors and fashion personalities that have paraded through the Venice’s Red Carpet: each and every one with a unique voice, but blending in a choir of grace and feminine beauty.
Charlotte Tilbury took care of the stunning Amal Clooney beauty look (pro tip: she used the Eyes to Mesmerise in Marie Antoinette), while hairstylist Rod Ortega granted her the classy-40s look with a puffy and vintage-looking long bob.
Jane Fonda rocked the red carpet with a stunning beauty look and the freshness of a young diva, smiling to the spotlights and enthusiastic crowd with a beam signed L’Oréal Paris (Jane is the face for Age Perfect by L’Oréal Beauty).
On a lighter shade MUA Mary Greenwell performed real magic on Amanda Seyfried, in Venice for the premiere of her drama “First Reformed” where she co-starred with Ethan Hawke, giving her bold lips and an otherwise simple, glowing look.
We also loved the YSL signed Make Up that Jasmine Trinca rocked at the Closing Ceremony: a perfect match between strawberry pink lip tint and soft smoky eyes was created by MUA Nicoletta Pinna for the young actress and juror.
It was really difficult to choose between all the make ups of these ten days, especially because each and every one added value to the person who wore it in a different way. We witnessed shimmering and golden smoky eyes, cherry-ish cheeks and light-touched complexion: most of them were worth of mentioning, and all for different reasons.
We’ve been updated on some of the beauty trends that made the history of this summer by YSL’s make up artist Valter Gazzano and, surely, we’ve seen them unrolling in front of our eyes, in that chaotic, unique, colorful frame that’s the Venice International Film Festival.
