Vivetta F/W20: Once Upon a time, There Was the Pop Nature

The love and magic of nature are fully stated in the F/W20 collection of Vivetta. The dresses which can be compared to a canvas to paint boundless and spring landscapes, remind us of our commitment to Earth, a duty that, unfortunately, does not seem to be considered with the right weight. The eternal girl of Vivetta then leads us into a fairy-tale world, made of sustainable choices and colorful dreams.

The dreamlike femininity of Vivetta conveys a new meaning: the eco-friendly one. The designer, in fact, has embarked on a sustainable journey for what concerns fabrics, as a result of a collaboration with Made in Italy companies.The entire collection revolves around the desire to emphasize respect towards our planet, a message that must be heard even by the new generations. The pleasure of living and loving nature is explored in all the possible ways: big drawings of natural landscapes, flowers (one of Vivetta iconic details) and patchwork decorations in eco-fur convey a vibrant, playful energy for a woman with a young spirit who’s constantly looking for inspiration.

The colorful and cheerful prints of the dresses and suits express a jaunty and irresistible joy; the landscapes are drawn in an almost childish way, the color palette includes pastel colors, pink, gray, green, black and yellow, the embossed details and the transparent embroideries fill the oversized, or still soft, looks. There is an almost total lack of accessories, except for some hats and the vibrant shoes, such as combat boots or high boots in bright colors which contrast the ones of the look; the general mood is sometimes punk, sometimes dolly but always in full Vivetta style.

BEAUTY

For the woman of Vivetta, who loves to experiment with irreverent and daring makeup, Giulio Panciera has created a look characterized by a natural and perfect base with nude lips. The eyebrows, on the other hand, are brushed upwards and, under the lower lid, a messy half-moon is shaped with many and multicolored glitter. To complete the look, a lot of mascara is applied to both the upper and lower lashes.

The hairstyling, curated by Eugene Souleiman for Wella Professionals, is also inspired by the fairytale creativity of the looks and, in particular, of the shoes. A low and severe tail that covers the ears and is then fixed with Dynamic Fix, except for some front strands which are left free and defined with Ocean Spritz. Last, colorful bows of different sizes were added to emphasize the lighthearted mood of the collection.
